DV Structural Engineering is an independent consultancy serving Plymouth, South, East and West Devon, and East Cornwall. We specialise in providing clear, pragmatic and buildable structural designs for residential and commercial projects of all scales.
Our ethos is simple: minimise the structure where possible, communicate clearly, and deliver solutions that are practical, proportionate and mindful of budget. As a locally rooted practice, we bring first‑hand knowledge of regional construction methods and the varied ground conditions found throughout the South West. This local insight allows us to anticipate challenges early and design efficiently, helping projects progress smoothly from concept to construction.
We work closely with homeowners, architects and contractors to produce structural designs that support safe, efficient construction and satisfy Building Regulations. You can explore our projects page for examples of our work.
